Layton, Utah – Eleven members from Mountain View Baptist Church in Layton recently returned from a week-long mission trip to Quebec City, in Canada’s Quebec province.Mountain View Layton joined with more than 140 volunteers – 74 from six churches in the U.S. churches and the rest from sponsoring church Eglise Urbaine 180 – to move 54 families from one residence to another. Each team moved four to six families a day.

Children often take over a family business their parents started. This isn’t uncommon.

For a son or daughter to relieve their parents in international ministry, though, can be a rare occurrence.

International Mission Board missionaries Bill and Phyllis were involved in rural ministry for 16 years but are now retiring. God made it possible for their son, Daniel, to take over the work, in 2023.
